The baby goats are a month old now (they were born on Pi day 3-14 as you might recall). We still haven’t come to a family agreement on their names. I’ve been calling them Chiffon and Canele’, but the names aren’t really catching on. One of the baby goats has decided that she is a cat and she likes to sleep in the feed box. If you are watching the livestream you might see her in there.
Today is supposed to be shearing day, and it has been raining all morning. So we’re keeping Mocha and the babies locked up, mostly so Mocha will stay dry. Coco is being kept locked up also so he will stay dry. And the others are loose out in the rain because we don’t have enough stalls with doors, so I don’t know how this is going to go today. Hopefully the Lord will grant us His favor and this day will end well.
